Veteran's Day Card

I made 6 of these cards for the heroes in my life for their service to our country. Brother-in-law Ken, cousin Gary, wonderful friends Dave, Earl and Roger, and my wonderful nephew and future veteran, Kelly who is currently serving in the Marines. To all of these fine men, I would like to say THANK YOU for the freedoms I enjoy today and the days to come.

Stand and Salute Cartridge

Card size 6 ½” x 4”

Cuts are USA 1 ¼”, States 3”, Words & Dog Tag 4”, Star ¾”

Cardstock used Lasting Impressions & Old Towne Tavern

My friend Tanya and I made this for her to take to her very first Minnesota Twins game at the new Target Field for her trip to Minneapolis. She brought her poster board over, had an idea in mind and it went from there. She did all the work on the poster while I made the bow. Tanya used paints, markers and Stickles. She cut the hole with the Coluzzle large circle. I made the bow using 2 1/2" x 40" wire ribbon from Michael's. The small pink flowers are actually a floral ribbon I cut apart and attached using ZOTS. It was in my stash from an earlier trip to my LSS. Centers of the flowers are Best Occasions Adhesive Rhinestone Accents from Walmart. We laminated the entire poster using Duck Peel & Stick from Walmart. Unfortunately, Tanya did not win the $100 in scratch off tickets for her poster. I thought she should have won!!

Anniversary Card - SIL & Brother

The dimensions of the card are a bit odd as I was on mission but failed to achieve the look I was after so I cut off an inch.
Basic white card stock from my stach cut at 6" x 11"
DCWV's The Rockstar Stack (8x8) cut into 4 2" squares from Joanns
Using Coluzzle, Square cut 1 3" and 1 3 1/2" purchased at LSS
Distressed edges of larger square using Versa Magic, Tea Leaves purchased at LSS
Mini stamp is from Inkadinkado purchased at Archiver's
Stamped image with Memento Rich Cocoa and colored with Copic markers and used Glaze Gel Pen for highlighting some areas. All were purchased at LSS
Layered flowers are from Prima
Center of flower is Metal Dot by Best Occasions purchased at Walmart
I used Tombow mono adhesive to attach mattes to card stock, Glue Dots Pup Us to attach to card, Glue Dot Mini to layer flower and Zots Mediums to attach flower to card and Stickles Star Dust for glittering the flowers

Coasters (set of 8)

Recipe for Coasters
4" Chipboard Purchased at local shop
For the edges, I used Color Box stamp pad and rubbed it along the edges. Color is Chestnut. Purchased at Michael's
Letter M, I used DCWV Glitter Cardstock Stack. Cut at 1 3/4" using the dark pink. Purchased at Joanns.
Brown and Green layers, I used Lovely Floral Cartridge. Brown is cut at 3 3/4". Green cut at 3 1/2". Cardstock from my stash.
Yellow flowers, I used Walk in My Garden cartridge. Cut at
3 1/4". Used cardstock from my stash.
I used my finger and rubbed Pink ink from 'A LaMode stamp pad. Purchased from another local shop that is no longer in business. (;
The center of the flowers is the largest dots from Stampendous Autocollants, Dot Sparklers Pink. Purchased at Michael's.
I sprayed them to make them waterproof using Super Seal. I won this item at a Swarm sponsored LSS.
The flowers were attached using Mini Glue Dots. For all other items, I used Mono Adhesive by Tombow.
I designed this project on my Gypsy using the Layer Feature.

I was at my favorite retreat center, The Red Hen House, in March and was getting burned out on Easter stuff and scrap pages so I came up with this idea. I used the scraps I had with me and 4 chip board coasters (from LSS), Mickey Fonts and Christmas Solutions cartridges and Tombow Mono Adhesive. It is all held together using the Bind-it-all.
